Hale Kipa Newsletter
Aloha! Each May, National Foster Care Month provides an opportunity to highlight the experiences of youth in Hawaii’s foster care system, as well as recognize the dedicated families and supporters of foster care programs across the state. It also marks an important time at Hale Kipa as we highlight the ever-present need for foster families statewide. Foster parents play an important role in troubled youth’s lives, providing not only basic care and structure, but also teaching important life-long skills and helping build healthy relationships. Hale Kipa’s Foster Care Program is designed to match a youth with the family that will best meet that child’s needs. We are always looking to expand our network of foster families and even provide referral and renewal incentives for foster parents currently in our system.
