Foster Parents
Foster parents needed to provide care for challenging youth ages 9-17. Training and monthly stipend will be provided. Must be licensable under State of Hawaii requirements.

Youth Advocate
The youth advocate is a fee-for-service position. This means work is assigned when it is available & based on the needs of the client(s). Hours per week may range from 0-20+. We are looking for youth advocate(s) who reside in Central, Leeward or Windward areas of Oahu. Hale Kipa is implementing the nationally-recognized Youth Advocate Program focused on providing individualized, wraparound prevention and intervention services to youth and their families on the islands of Oahu, Hawaii, Kauai and Maui. LCSW or LMFT); Need to possess: program management skills, ability to provide clincial supervision to therapists; provision of direct services to youth and families; ability to work with foster parents; liaison with referral sources and collaterals in the community; good writing and communication skills.

Educational Program Developer/Certified Teacher
Hale Kipa is launching a new initiative to help at risk youth and young adults find living wage employment in Hawaii through a combination of educational and vocational support. We are looking for an energetic, “out-of-the-box” thinker who has classroom and online teaching experience, familiarity with credit recovery programs, project-based learning and the willingness to work as a member of a small team to develop the online education component of this initiative. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, an independent worker, technology savvy, experienced working with at risk youth and is knowledgeable about the DOE system as well as the youth and social service communities in Hawaii. Must be willing to work a non-traditional, year round schedule. Bachelor’s Degree in Education Required; SPED Certification preferred.
