Hale Kipa’s Therapeutic Group Homes provide transitional therapeutic living environments and therapeutic support for youth who are ready to reintegrate back into the community from hospital or residential settings. The program also provides help with development of coping skills, living skills and independent living skills.

Hale Kipa’s Therapeutic Group Homes are child and family centered and culturally sensitive. They comprise a comprehensive system of care, addressing the youth’s physical, emotional, educational, recreational, and developmental needs in a least restrictive and most natural home environment.

In addition to a nurturing home environment, the program applies therapeutic programming, utilizes behavioral management and positive reinforcement techniques to manage behavior, and uses Qualified Mental Health Professionals to provide therapeutic and family services.
