Hale Kipa continues to undergo significant changes over the years as we have evolved to meet the challenge of providing a comprehensive array of youth services within the complex fabric of Hawaii’s society. There has been a significant expansion in both the number of programs and the clients served. Current plans call for the construction of a new Services Center and residential homes.

As there is no cost to the client for these vital services, funding must come from the government and private sources. Our Capital Campaign was initiated in 2004 to answer these needs. To find out how you can be a part of this significant effort for Hawaii’s youth, Email Lee Carson, or call 589-1829 ext. 116 for more information.

There are other ways to support Hale Kipa’s work. Some investors may find financial advantages while promising a strong future for Hale Kipa with our Planned Giving program. Other supporters can benefit the local community and its youth by donating goods and services .

Capital Campaign Updates
Hale Kipa’s Capital Campaign has a goal of $16 million. Professional fundraisers Myerberg, Shain and Associates are spearheading the effort to raise funds for Hale Kipa’s Services Center and its new residential shelters and school. Suitable properties for the facilities are being sought. Thanks to the efforts of our Government Relations Co-Chairs, Stacy Evensen, Ed Fountain, and Mike Kido, Hale Kipa has already received $1.3 million in CIP grants, $100,000 from Bank of Hawaii and several grants from other businesses and individuals in Hawaii.
