PAWS FOR A CAUSE RECOGNIZES ARMY VOLUNTEERS

On Sept. 25, 2015, Paws for a Cause recognized members of U.S. Army D Company 53rd Signal Battalion in Wahiawa for their volunteer service over the summer. Volunteers helped renovate the Paws for a Cause downstairs space, painting interior walls, installing heavy recycled rubber flooring material for a new dog run, adhering it to the floor, installing baseboards and moving heavy furniture into the new space. Paws for a Cause is a Kaneohe dog daycare and boarding program of Hale Kipa.

The volunteer efforts were featured in an October 10, 2015, online news article by Hawaii Army Weekly.
