In 2020, Hale Kipa celebrated its 50^th anniversary serving Hawai‘i’s youth and their families. Founded by the Honolulu Police Department, Family Court and the Junior League, Hale Kipa has grown from a single shelter on O‘ahu since its inception in 1970.
