As Seniors at James Campbell High School, Janelle and Jasmine teamed up and organized a “Clothes Drive for Youth” as their community project.  Several local nonprofits benefited from their efforts.  Hale Kipa was one of the lucky organizations that received several bags of clothes.  The clothes will be given to youth that seek assistance or are actively in one or several of the twenty programs and collaborations that Hale Kipa offers.

In addition to the duo’s clothes drive, Janelle creatively assembled Plant Kits to teach nurturing and patience with the added bonus of fruits.  The kit consists of a potting container, soil, and a packet of seeds with growing instructions.
