Alienum phaedrum torquatos nec eu, vis detraxit periculis ex, nihil expetendis in mei. Mei an pericula euripidis, hinc partem.

Each May, Hale Kipa and other social service organizations take time to acknowledge foster parents, family members, volunteers, mentors, policymakers, child welfare professionals, and other members of the community who help children and youth in foster care find permanent homes and connections.

Hale Kipa had the opportunity to talk with local media and share a little about the Therapeutic Foster Care program they provide and the need for additional foster parents.

Kim Rivera, a Hale Kipa Foster Home Developer, spoke with KHON2 and Hawaii News Now Sunrise about the Therapeutic Foster Care program:

Hale Kipa’s Program coordinator Michelle Rocca and therapist Jason Redick spoke with Hawaii Public Radio on The Conversation about current foster care needs. Makana, a youth who has gone through Hale Kipa’s transitional family homes, also joined the discussion.
