2024 Annual Pāʻina Fundraising Dinner

This year, Kupukupu, known for its resiliency and rebirth, was featured as the theme for our annual fundraising event.  This native Hawaiian fern is commonly found surviving and flourishing in harsh environments and very much reflects the resilient qualities of the youth and young adults that we are privileged to serve.

At this sunset gathering, speakers included Hale Kipa’s Board Chair, Michael Magaoay and Hale Kipa’s CEO, Venus Rosete-Medeiros.  Former Hale Kipa youth gave moving speeches as they relived their turbulent childhood and their journey of rebirth through programs and services that helped guide them to a better future.

Funds raised from this annual event will go towards supporting important programs and services that continue to create opportunities for thousands of Hawaiʻi’s young people who seek assistance.  Mahalo to our supporters for being part of their journey of rebirth.
