Alienum phaedrum torquatos nec eu, vis detraxit periculis ex, nihil expetendis in mei. Mei an pericula euripidis, hinc partem.

Aloha, Homelessness is hard to see. Sometimes you can see it right on the streets where you live and work, and other times it is invisible. Homelessness is deeply personal, and hard to track. This makes the homeless population vulnerable and very much in need of resources.
Support the Girls provides ‘support’ to homeless women and girls. Many of them are victims of domestic violence, and often flee horrendous situations with little more than the clothes on their backs. They definitely don’t have time to pack extra bras and hygiene products, which makes these very important things to donate.
We are very excited to host a bra drive to help out the charitable initiative ‘Support the Girls’. They collect new/used bras and new sealed packages of tampons and maxi pads to distribute to homeless/houseless women and girls throughout the world in order to help restore their dignity and self-respect. Bras are so essential for women’s health, self-esteem, employment, and more. Feminine hygiene products are expensive, and necessary every month for women’s health and personal hygiene.
People rarely donate bras and feminine hygiene products, and all women and teenage girls could benefit from these items. Women always need bras, tampons, and maxi pads, as we all know menstrual cycles happen to homeless women too and a woman shouldn’t have to choose between a hot meal and a maxi pad, as both are equally important.
During the month of March, we are asking businesses, friends, family and anyone we may come in contact with, if they would be so kind as to donate to this cause. We would be happy to receive any donations so that we can provide them to organizations that will be able to help women in need. We have 3 donation collection sites which include: The Sugar Hut in Maili, Lydia’s Beauty Salon in Wahiawa, and Tea at 1024 in Downtown Honolulu. Donations can also be mailed to the address below.
Thank you for your willingness to help ‘Support the Girls’ and countless homeless/houseless women across our state of Hawaii.
