Hale Kipa was one of 44 nonprofit organizations statewide that received funds this week from Act 86, a $1 million fund earmarked for homelessness efforts in tourism-impacted areas, and matched dollar-for-dollar by funds raised in the private sector. Hale Kipa received $5,000 for its work with homeless and at-risk youth.
